Matthew Booker is a Maltese lawyer, corporate advisor, and capital markets specialist known for guiding clients through complex transactions with clarity and precision. With an LL.B (Hons) and Master in Advocacy from the University of Malta, alongside a Bachelor in International Economics and Finance from Bocconi University in Milan, he brings a rare blend of legal rigour and commercial insight to every engagement.
As Lead Associate at Camilleri Preziosi Advocates, Matthew has advised on major debt and equity issues across the local capital markets, as well as cross-border corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and a wide range of business transactions. His practice spans tax, company law, commercial contracts, and corporate governance, with a particular focus on financial services, collective investment schemes, and ESG initiatives.
A trusted voice in Malta’s legal and financial community, Matthew is known for translating complexity into actionable strategy – helping families, founders, and institutions structure ownership, succession, and growth with confidence. Beyond the boardroom, he is a keen tennis player, sailor, and lifelong enthusiast of all things sea and motor.
Elena Grima Tortell is a Maltese lawyer and corporate advisor with deep expertise in succession planning, corporate law, and structuring for long-term continuity. She holds a Masters in Advocacy from the University of Malta and is completing a Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law at the University of London — pairing technical depth with a forward-looking commercial perspective.
As Senior Associate at Deloitte Legal, Elena advises private clients, families, and businesses on the legal frameworks that protect ownership, govern transitions, and preserve value across generations. Her practice draws on more than a decade at Deloitte in Malta, where she has progressed from trainee to Senior Manager, building a track record across corporate law, succession planning, and complex advisory matters.
David Aquilina is a Director at Belair Property, where he leads one of Malta’s foremost real estate agencies and plays an active role in shaping its strategic direction and day-to-day operations.
